A.J. Brown was questionable in the lead-up to the Titans’ 34-31 win over the Bills on “Monday Night Football.” Not because of an injury, but because he was dealing with an illness that came from eating bad food.
He was dealing with food poisoning.
“Chipotle,” Brown revealed to reporters after Tennessee’s win. “I’m sorry, Chipotle. Probably won’t get an endorsement with Chipotle.”
Brown, who has dealt with a hamstring injury for most of the 2021 NFL season, lost eight pounds over 48 hours as a result of his sickness and had to take fluid intravenously to play against the Bills.
“I got like three IVs,” Brown said. “I got two this morning. I got a bag-and-a-half before the game. Like I said earlier, I didn’t know if I was gonna play or not, but they expected me to play.”

As expected, Brown was hindered a bit by his sickness.
“The first half, to be honest, man, I was feeling really bad,” Brown said, per The Tennessean. “I couldn’t get myself going. They was trying to bring me along slow because they knew they’d need me in the second half.”
In the game, Brown recorded seven catches for 91 yards to help the Titans to a much needed victory.
