State Farm Stadium in Arizona hosts Super Bowl 57 when the Kansas City Chiefs face the Philadelphia Eagles.
The turf at the stadium for Sunday’s showdown has its own interesting story as the league had been working on it for two years. The league had been growing grass at a local sod farm in Phoenix and it was just installed two weeks ago.
The grass is moved out on a daily basis for a blast of sunshine and at 6pm is rolled back in to protect it from the cold temperatures.

The only other stadium where this is done is Allegiant Stadium where the field can be rolled out and exposed to natural sunlight with a dome to house the actual field on game day.
We can only hope to see more stadiums being built this way in the future. Especially, if it limits players being hurt.
