Tim Tebow is a very busy man.
The former Florida star and NFL quarterback quarterback turned college football analyst for ESPN is not only playing minor league baseball for the New York Mets, but he makes sure to reach people in all aspects of life. That includes inmates.
Tebow recently made a surprise visit to Alfred D. Hughes Unit, a prison for men of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.
At some point, he entered a push-up a contest against an inmate and he was destroyed.
“We had fun, but I got smoked!” Tebow said after his visit.
“So encouraged by what God is doing at Alfred Hughes prison and grateful for the time spent with my new brothers in Christ today! Excited to see how they will use their lives for the Kingdom as the grow closer to God and encourage others to live in faith! Thank you to the Warden and the entire staff- thank you for opening your doors and letting us love on your boys today!”
