Did Daniel Jones answer a bunch of questions regarding his play on the field last season? Absolutely.
Does anyone think he has the tools to be one of the top quarterbacks in the league? Absolutely not. However, there is one person who has faith in him.
This week, former New York Giants running back Tiki Barber said Jones has the ability to be a top-five QB in the league.
“Daniel Jones can be a top-five quarterback. I really believe that,” Barber said on WFAN radio. “Daniel Jones is paid to be a top-five quarterback right now. He has the ability.”
Not a single soul believed what he was saying.

Earlier this offseason, the Giants signed Jones to a four-year deal worth $160 million that includes $35 million in additional incentives, $82 million over the first two years, and a first-year cap number of $19 million, per Ian Rapoport.
Jones threw for 3,205 yards, 15 touchdowns, and five interceptions during the 2022 regular season, while running for 708 yards and seven rushing touchdowns.
He helped the team get to the playoffs and deliver a victory over the Minnesota Vikings in the Wild Card round. Jones would have to play like a top-5 quarterback if the team wants to go deeper in the playoffs. Having Saquon Barkley back after he signed a one-year deal is a huge step in making that happen.
