How low are ticket prices if you want to attend a Washington Commanders game at FedEx Field?
Judging by their first preseason game, they are pretty affordable. On Thursday, a report suggested tickets could be had for just $1.
“GameTime, a secondary ticket platform, reports tickets for Saturday’s preseason game between the Panthers and Commanders at FedEx Field are as cheap as $1,” sports business reporter Daniel Kaplan said.
Over the offseason, Washington acquired Carson Wentz in a trade, swapping second-round picks with the Indianapolis Colts and also giving them a third-round pick this year and a conditional third-rounder in 2023.
Wentz is no longer the player he used to be and seems to be declining. It does not look like the fan base has any faith in him or the team to make any real noise in 2022.
After finishing 7-10 last season and landing outside the playoff picture, the Commanders knew they needed a quarterback upgrade in order to improve as a team. And Wentz is the man they are counting on to get the job done.
