Ticket prices for Saturday night’s Wild Card Showdown between the Kansas City Chiefs and Miami Dolphins have been slashed significantly ahead of the highly-anticipated matchup.
While fans won’t be able to watch from home without a Peacock subscription, folks keen on watching at Arrowhead Stadium are in for a treat.
On the other end of the spectrum, the game is expected to be one for the history books in terms of how cold it’s going to be. And even some of the biggest Chiefs fans are not looking forward to attending.
An arctic blast is headed south toward the Kansas/Missouri border and temperatures are expected to drop below zero while a wind chill is tipped to take things to dangerously cold levels of minus 30.
It’s why tickets to the biggest game of the opening round are now dirt cheap. Folks could secure seats for as low as $45-$50, with 50-yard line tickets going for less than $300.

That makes up for the Peacock decision if you’re willing to brave the cold, though one Chiefs player has already figured out a way to offer the stream to fans for free.
