During the Divisional Round matchup between the Dallas Cowboys and Los Angeles Rams in the playoffs in January, the crowd at the Coliseum made it look more like a Cowboys home game than a road game, but the Rams would eventually prevail on the backs of C.J. Anderson who ran for 123 yards and Gurley, who rushed for 115 yards.
That game was the hottest ticket in town by far.
Fast forward to their eventual preseason matchup in Hawaii and the prices are even more ridiculous for a game that doesn’t count than a game that actually mattered in the postseason.
If you’re trying to get into Aloha Stadium on August 17th to watch Cowboys-Rams, you’re already too late since the game sold out for less than a day with many of the tickets hitting the secondary market.
Tickets with a face value starting at $30 are being posted “in the thousands.”
“Who takes all the tickets? Can some of us locals get some tickets or something? How can they be taken up so fast?” Hawaii resident Sai Uluave told KITV.com.
TicketMaster right now has tickets for as low as $139, with the highest being around $3,000. Yeah, for a preseason game where starters won’t be playing much.
