For the second-straight year, Nick Foles has been brought in due to an injury to Carson Wentz to help save the Eagles season and he’s doing a damn good job of it, especially with throws like this.
During the Wild Card game against the Chicago Bears — Foles led a last-minute drive, highlighted by a touchdown pass to Golden Tate, which was the game-winning score. Prior to that, the back-up QB had an insane throw where he tossed the ball in triple-coverage and put some type of weird curve on it where it found Golden Tate right where he needed to be.
That is absolutely insane.
Foles finished the game with 266 passing yards, two touchdowns, and a QBR of 77.6. If he can get the Eagles to the Super Bowl and possibly win a 2nd-straight ring, Foles is going to demand a lot of money over the next couple of years from a team.
