Stephen Jones might not be as vocal as Jerry Jones, but Dallas Cowboys fans and media seem to feel the same way about him.
On Monday, the Dallas Cowboys held their introductory press conference for head coach Brian Schottenheimer.
When Brian Schottenheimer was introduced, he received a chorus of applause.
The same could not be said for the Dallas Cowboys executive vice president, CEO, and director of player personnel.
Stephen Jones was introduced as the executive vice president of player personnel and franchise co-owner and met with a deafening silence.
All he could do was smile and awkwardly laugh and smile as Schottenheimer eventually gave him a courteous clap.
Not a soul clapped for Stephen Jones 😭pic.twitter.com/flpvDd1NoB

The feelings towards the Jones’ family have reached a fevered pitch as the fan base has seriously grown sick and tired of being mediocre and never advancing any further in the postseason. Not to mention, the feeling of watching Washington do it with a former coach on the team makes things so much worse.
Stephen Jones Made Curious Comment About The Dallas Cowboys Drought
On Monday, the Dallas Cowboys officially named Brian Schottenheimer their next 10th head coach in franchise history.
He will be taking over for Mike McCarthy after both sides agreed to move on.
During Schottenheimer’s introductory press conference, Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones was introduced and met with silence, as opposed to the coach, who had many clapping for him.
That was certainly foreshadowing.
Jones would later imply during the conference that he does not believe the Cowboys to be in any sort of drought.
With Washington advancing to the title game, Dallas has the longest drought of any NFC team to reach the conference title game.
