When Carson Wentz returned from a torn ACL a few weeks into the 2018 NFL season, everyone assumed it meant we’d seen the last of Super Bowl LII MVP Nick Foles in an Eagles uniform. It was expected that Foles would close out the season as Wentz’s backup, then hit free agency and find a new home during the 2019 offseason.
Then Wentz suffered a serious back injury, forcing Foles back into the starter’s role. And all Foles did from there was lead the Eagles to three straight wins to close out the season and secure a playoff birth. And last week, during their Wild Card game against the Bears in Chicago, Foles worked him magic once again by leading the Eagles on a game-winning touchdown drive late in the fourth quarter.
At that point, many football fans and pundits were left wondering whether Philly would be better off just keeping Foles and trading Wentz to the highest bidder.
Of course, Twitter took that idea and ran with it, as many took a stab at predicting possible trades that the Eagles could explore for Wentz. And some of these actually make a ridiculous amount of sense.
Could we see any of these trade take place during the upcoming offseason?

Should the Eagles trade both Carson Wentz and Nick Foles and move forward with Nate Sudfeld? Don’t feel like that’s being talked about enough.
