We just might be having a snow playoff game when the New England Patriots take on the Buffalo Bills.
Buffalo will take on either No. 6 New England in the opening round of the playoffs on Saturday night. By relying on defense and the running game, Bill Belichick outsmarted the Bills during a bad weather game against the Bills already, and he may have to do it again.
The forecast in Buffalo calls for a 60 percent chance of snow and temperatures in the 15 degrees to 20 degrees range.
The Bills’ defense will need to be on top of their game. Even with losing Tre’Davious White at cornerback, they ended up second in the NFL in passing defense efficiency.
The Patriots won the first meeting between the two teams this year in a 14-10 game at a wind swept Highmark Stadium. Three weeks later, the Bills came to Gillette and pulled off a 33-21 win that ended up shifting them back to the top of the AFC East.

This will be just the second time the Patriots and Bills meet in the playoffs. It was way back in the 1963 AFL Eastern Division playoff. The Patriots won that game 26-8. The players and coaches may have changed just a tad since that last matchup in the postseason.
