Aaron Rodgers has been cancelled….out of the postseason at the hands of the 49ers yet again. The Packers, the No. 1 seed in the NFC, were stunned at home by No. 6 seed San Francisco, when Robbie Gould drilled a game-winning field goal as time expired.
Naturally, his quick exit out of the playoffs has led to speculation that he has played his final game in Green Bay and just might be moving on elsewhere.
He admitted on Saturday night that he has a decision to make regarding his future.
“I’m still super competitive, still know I can play at a high level, so it’s going to be a tough decision,” Rodgers said postgame. “I have a lot of things to weigh in the coming weeks. But man, just so much gratitude for this city and this organization and such a long, long career here that I’m proud of and really thankful for all the men and women that work here, the men I’ve gotten to cross paths with, coaches and players over the years.”
Yahoo! Sports named six potential destinations for Rodgers should he leave the only team he has ever known: Denver, New York Giants, New Orleans Saints, Washington Football Team, Pittsburgh Steelers, Las Vegas Raiders.
The 13-10 loss drops Rodgers’ postseason record to 0-4 against the 49ers. A missed opportunity that might rank as one of the worst postseason losses in Green Bay history, considering the Packers had the best record in the NFL and were considered the best team in the NFC by a wide margin.

Rodgers famously responded to the question, “How disappointed are you that you will not be a 49er?” with “Not as disappointed as the 49ers will be that they didn’t draft me.”
This final loss to them just might send the future hall of famer elsewhere to continue his career.
