The Tampa Bay Lightning just recently brought home their second straight Stanley Cup Championship in a crazy turn of events from a franchise that last won it all back in 2004 before their recent string of success.
It can all be contributed to just one man, and he doesn’t even play in the sport: Tom Brady.
Tom Brady is arguably the best quarterback of all time, with seven Super Bowl victories, appearing in the Big Game ten times, and racking up over 30 postseason wins. Winning isn’t exclusive to Brady as a chart creatd by SB Nation shows that wherever Brady lives, winning follows, and it started just two years after he was born. Brady was born in 1977 and grew up in San Mateo, California, just 20 miles from San Francisco. Two years later, the San Francisco 49ers drafted arguably the second-best quarterback in history, Joe Montana.
Brady grew up watching the 49ers win five Super Bowls and the Oakland Raiders also won a Super Bowl, and the Oakland Athletics were World Series champions.
