The NFL draft can be a career-changing event. Not just for the players whose names are announced throughout the three-day event, but also for those in attendance who turn their 5-seconds of television time into a viral moment.
Just look at what happened with Aiden Hutchinson’s mom, who was the talk of Day One after cameras caught her congratulating her son for being the Detroit Lions’ second-overall pick.
As for Day Two, that belonged to the wife of Joe Exotic’s lawyer, of all people. During the Jacksonville Jaguars’ third-round pick, 70th overall, cameras panned over to John M. Phillips, who made a name for himself by defending the Tiger King in court.
But it was Phillips’ wife who stole the show on this occasion, as she celebrated the pick in her Jaguars-themed outfit.
We’re not sure what the lady’s name is, but Twitter was all over this. As one user pointed out, it seems appropriate that the couple would cheer for a cat-themed team.
