Kendrick Lamar made quite the fashion statement with his Super Bowl halftime show performance on Sunday night.
The Grammy Award-winning rapper received plenty of criticism after his set but can now boast having highlighted the most-watched halftime show in SB history for at least a year.
Lamar got on stage wearing a custom Martin Rose leather jacket, Celine flare jeans, Nike Air Max DT 96 sneakers, and a reported $1.2 million jewelry, including an “a minor” chain in a direct shot at Drake.
According to TMZ, the jeans have sold out in stores, with the French luxury fashion house now completely out of the $1,200 denim trousers.
Celine teamed up with Kendrick’s label, pgLang, a few years ago. We assume it’s one partnership they do not regret.

Lamar, who also wore a cap with a Rahaminov Diamonds Angel Wing brooch on the night, stirred up some controversy with the aforementioned chain. But he didn’t stop there.

The Compton rapper dropped his 2024 hit, “Not Like Us,” in which he accuses Drake of pedophilia. He also referenced the Canadian by name during the performance.
His set clearly wasn’t for everyone. Some people thought it was one of the greatest shows ever, while others thought it was the worst ever. One thing’s for sure: More people watched it than any other halftime delivery in Super Bowl history.
The fact that the pants he was wearing had already sold out just a few days later suggests the appearance was a massive hit with viewers as folks are spending large sums to remain in the “Like Us” bracket.
