A fascinating trade proposal idea has the Miami Dolphins beginning a massive roster overhaul by dealing superstar wide receiver Tyreek Hill to an AFC heavyweight.
Tyreek Hill openly expressed his frustration with the Dolphins during Monday night’s humiliating 31-12 home loss to the Tennessee Titans. The 30-year-old was largely a non-factor with only four receptions for 23 yards.
Once again, the Miami offense suffered through another power outage without Tua Tagovailoa, who remains sidelined with a concussion. Tyler Huntley and company could only muster 184 yards of offense on 54 plays in the ugly prime-time loss.
The Dolphins are 1-3 and unlikely to turn things around with Tagovailoa still likely out for several more weeks. Couple that with Hill’s sideline meltdown, and some folks can’t help but wonder if he and the Dolphins could be headed for a split.
The DraftKings sportsbook X/Twitter account proposed a fascinating trade idea that has Miami sending Tyreek Hill back to Patrick Mahomes’ Kansas City Chiefs in exchange for 2025 first and fourth-round picks plus a 2026 sixth-round pick.

The Chiefs lost free agent signing Marquise Brown (shoulder) for the entire regular season. On top of that, superstar receiver Rashee Rice is expected to miss the rest of the year after suffering a knee injury in Week 4 against the Los Angeles Chargers.
So Kansas City needs another No. 1 receiver, and Hill and Mahomes were among football’s best QB-WR combos during their four seasons together. On paper, this trade makes sense if Miami is willing to part ways with Tyreek Hill amid a frustrating season.
Tyreek Hill Would Make Chiefs Offense Unstoppable
The Chiefs still have two game-changing weapons in tight end Travis Kelce and rookie wideout Xavier Worthy. But bringing back Hill, who played for Miami from 2016 to 2021, would take this offense to another dimension.
Kansas City GM Brett Veach would have t o pull off incredible cap gymnastics to make the move work, but the proposed trade idea makes sense for all parties if the three parties are interested in doing so.
