Skip Bayless famously got outed by Jalen Rose for averaging 1.4 points as a senior in high school. It was funny then, but it’s not so funny now.
He recently landed a four-year, $32 million extension from his current network, FS1, after his previous employer, ESPN, tried and failed to reunite him with former show partner Stephen A. Smith, the New York Post’s Andrew Marchand reported.
This deal comes after the company lured him away from ESPN in 2016 with a four-year, $24 million contract to launch his own show, “Undefeated,” on FS1.
Dime Magazine recently put Skip’s contract into perspective and showed how many professional athletes actually make less than him a year.
As part of his new deal, Fox Sports may give Bayless a solo show in the afternoons on FS1.
