Allegiant Stadium is shining brighter this week.
On Tuesday night, people in Las Vegas got a sneak peek of what the Allegiant Stadium lights will look like at night. According to 8 News Now, construction crews tested lighting on the outside of the building as they come even closer to the completion deadline.
“Obviously this city, I expect it’s going to be a Super Bowl city,” NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said. “This stadium is obviously the jewel that will be part of that.”
Las Vegas was supposed to hold the 2020 NFL Draft, but the coronavirus pandemic brought everything to a stop and the city as well as all casinos have been shutdown to get people to practice social distancing and help stop the spread of the deadly virus that has claimed thousands of lives.
Allegiant Stadium cost $2.5 billion to build and is scheduled to be completed on July 31.
