Saquon Barkley was seen sporting a slick pre-game outfit ahead of his Philadelphia Eagles debut against the Green Bay Packers on Friday night in São Paulo, Brazil.
After three seasons with the New York Giants, Saquon Barkley signed with the archrival Eagles in free agency on a three-year deal worth $37.75 million. After a six-month wait, the 2018 Offensive Rookie of the Year is now just hours away from debuting with his new team.
Before kickoff, cameras caught Barkley donning a crafty pre-game outfit: Pink pants, a Jimmy Page and Robert Plant “No Quarter” and tidy white shoes:

Though Barkley suffered a string of injuries during his tenure in New York (he missed all but two games in 2020 after tearing his ACL), the Penn State product racked up 5,211 rushing yards, 35 touchdowns and 288 receptions for 2,100 yards and 12 receiving scores.
Saquon Barkley now joins an Eagles team that has churned out 1,000-yard rushers like clockwork over the past 15 years. Their lead RB1 of 2023, D’Andre Swift, signed with the Chicago Bears in free agency.
After playing the Packers, the Eagles will make the long commute home before hosting the Atlanta Falcons on “Monday Night Football” in Week 2.
Eagles Hope Saquon Barkley Is The Final Piece
The Eagles jumped out to a 10-1 start last year before losing five of their final six regular season games en route to a humiliating blowout loss against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the Wild Card Round.
Philly is just two years removed from the Super Bowl, so there’s no questioning their ability to go on a Super Bow run. If Barkley stays healthy and comes as advertised, he just might be the final piece to help them win their second Super Bowl in franchise history.
