This is not the news Jerry Jones wanted to see this offseason.
This week, it was reported that a Texas Appellate Court revived a sexual assault claim against the Dallas Cowboys owner that stems from a 2018 incident where he allegedly kissed a woman on her mouth and forcibly grabbed her without her consent.
The lady in question says the incident went down while in the Tom Landry room at AT&T Stadium. The case was originally dismissed because the woman would not identify herself in pleadings.
Last year when the complaint was first filed, the unnamed woman said, “Plaintiff has nightmares about what Jerry Jones did to her,” reads the complaint.
“She has trouble focusing and completing day-to-day tasks at work and at home.
“Plaintiff gets nervous around men and has trouble being alone with men.
“Plaintiff cries often because of what Defendant Jerry Jones did to her and does not want any other woman to experience such assaults.”
On the original complaint, it also stated that the incident went down in front of various witnesses, such as former Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett and players Ezekiel Elliott, Tyrone Crawford, and Tyron Smith, all of whom allegedly were also in the same room.

She also complaints against the NFL and the Cowboys, accusing both organizations of allegedly threatening other victims or witnesses in order to prevent further complaints.
It looks like Jerry Jones has a ton on his plate this offseason than he ever imagined.
