The Washington Commanders had very little trouble against the Houston Texans on Sunday. The game was over by halftime as they held a 20-0 lead at the end of the second quarter.
The Texans only found one first down the entire first half.
In fact, their offense was so bad that they averaged just 8.6 inches per play.
A team has failed to record 10+ net yards in a first half just 11 times this century. The two most recent instances have been courtesy of the Texans and Davis Mills.
That happened today and during Week 4 of the 2011 season when the Bills took on the Texans.
