It’s hard to believe that it has been six years since the infamous gas mask video.
A 30-second video of Laremy Tunsil smoking marijuana out of a gas mask went insanely viral. The Dolphins, who bet on Tunsil’s character, were the biggest beneficiary of what proved to be an overreaction.
It worked out really well for Tunsil, who was traded to the Houston Texans in August 2019 and became a two-time Pro Bowl left tackle. He cashed in with a $22 million-per-year contract in April 2020.
Now, he has big plans for that moment in time.
The Houston Texans offensive tackle announced on Twitter he is minting a one-of-one non-fungible token of the gas mask moment and donating a portion of the proceeds to the Last Prisoner Project.

Tunsil made the All-SEC team in each of his three seasons at the University of Mississippi, including first-team selections in 2014 and 2015.
Tunsil later told Deion Sanders on the NFL Network that it was an old video and somebody hacked his account.
The 27-year-old hasn’t had any off-field issues in the NFL.
