Everyone was already under the assumption that Deshaun Watson would never suit up for the Houston Texans again, and now they may be onboard with that idea.
Via Rivers McCown, the Texans have removed their quarterback completely from the introduction to the teams’ online TV show, Texans 360.

This offseason has produced a trade demand from Watson and now the team distancing themselves from him after 22 women have accused him of sexual misconduct or assault. On top of losing several sponsors, the NFL has already opened their own investigation, which could lead to him being put on the commissioner’s exempt list that would force him off the field.
Here’s a full description of the Reserve/Commissioner Exempt List directly from the NFL Player Personnel Policy Manual:
“The Exempt List is a special player status available to clubs only in unusual circumstances. The List includes those players who have been declared by the Commissioner to be temporarily exempt from counting within the Active List limit. Only the Commissioner has the authority to place a player on the Exempt List; clubs have no such authority, and no exemption, regardless of circumstances, is automatic. The Commissioner also has the authority to determine in advance whether a player’s time on the Exempt List will be finite or will continue until the Commissioner deems the exemption should be lifted and the player returned to the Active List.”

Jasmine Brooks, a supporter and former masseuse of Watson, told KHOU-TV the accusations against Watson are far from the person she knows him to be.
“Deshaun Watson has never asked me for any sexual favor. He’s never harassed me. He’s never coerced me into anything at all. He’s always been super quiet. The only conversations we’ve ever had, I’m usually the one initiating the conversation. I feel like I’ve been working on him for so long and I still don’t even really know too much about Deshaun, really, because he hardly talks,” Brooks said.
“I’m really here to stand up for my industry more than to defend Deshaun, as a massage therapist,” she told the station, adding she was no longer a client of Watson’s.
Watson is not facing any criminal charges. The Houston police were investigating at least one complaint.
