The Houston Texans have offered a major injury update on rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud ahead of their matchup vs. the Tennessee Titans.
There are now fears that Stroud could miss Sunday’s game, especially given its importance as it could have playoff implications. Stroud, who hit the back of his head on the turf after being brought down during Houston’s Week 14 loss to the New York Jets, hasn’t practiced all week after leaving said contest after the hit and not returning.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, he’s not practicing this Friday either and is now likely to miss the upcoming fixture on Sunday.
The Texans are one of six AFC outfits heading into Week 15 with a 7-6 record and a win could see them pull away into a potential wild-card spot. A second successive loss, however, would leave them in a precarious position.
