Washington Commanders wide receiver Terry McLaurin is rumored to be attracting interest from several teams around the NFL as the NFC East outfit is said to have gotten multiple calls over his potential availability.
Despite the interest, the Commanders are not keen on dealing the pass catcher. But it hasn’t prevented other sides from reaching out.
“Several teams have called to check availability on Washington Commanders Terry McLaurin,” the NFL Rumors X account shared on Saturday. “I highly doubt they will move him but NFL Teams making due diligence.”
McLaurin is one of the most respected wideouts around the league. He’s recorded over 1,000 passing yards in three of his last five seasons and is on track to do so in 2023.
“Scary Terry,” as he’s also known, has earned praise from Washington’s receivers coach Bobby Engram in recent times, which is why it’s doubtful the team would be willing to let him go.
“How quietly intense he is,” Engram remarked. “Extremely competitive but professional in every way. He’s a guy that wants to dominate on game day.”
