Longtime FOX Sports co-host Terry Bradshaw has an isue with one veteran NFL quarterback in the league.
The New Orleans Saints have fallen short of expectations in Dennis Allen’s second season as head coach and Bradshaw thinks Derek Carr is the reason for that.
Before Sunday’s matchup against the Tampa Bay Bucs — Bradshaw offered a harsh take on Carr’s first season in New Orleans.
“Derek Carr, although he’s played well the last two weeks, he is not the answer,” Bradshaw said. “They’ve got to find themselves a quarterback down there. They are a good football team, well coached by Dennis Allen. But they sorely need that great quarterback to build around.”
The Saints needed to win their final two games and hope Tampa Bay loses to the last-place Panthers in the regular season finale to take the division and reach the playoffs.
They got one thing right as they defeated the Bucs on Sunday.

Derek Carr completed 24 of 32 passes for 197 yards and two touchdowns.
The Saints will need to beat Atlanta at home next Sunday, and have the Panthers triumph over the visiting Buccaneers to win the NFC South.
