Tip to all television or radio personalities: Stay away from suggesting that someone might commit suicide. It’s just not something that anyone wants to hear.
Terry Bradshaw could have used that advice prior to today’s pregame show, as the Pittsburgh Steelers legend suggested that Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury “might commit suicide” if he ran the ball five times in a row.
The crew was breaking down today’s Seattle Seahawks-Arizona Cardinals matchup when Sean Payton suggested the Cards run the ball more often with James Conner today. Bradshaw wasn’t having it, however, claiming that the Cardinals’ mentality was to “throw, throw, throw.”
That’s when he said, “I think if this kid ran five or six runs in a row, I think he’d commit suicide or something.” The look on Michael Strahan’s face says it all.
Bradshaw’s comment didn’t go unnoticed on the Fox set, and it also didn’t go unnoticed on social media.
