Pro Football Hall of Famer and longtime NFL analyst Terry Bradshaw has given a firm timeline on when he’ll walk away from life in front of the cameras.
Bradshaw, who turned 76 years of age in September, has been with Fox Sports as an NFL analyst since 1994. With his 80th birthday just a few years away, fans have wondered if permanent retirement is on the mind of the Pittsburgh Steelers icon.
During a media scrum at Super Bowl week, The Mirror US asked Terry Bradshaw about a potential retirement timeline. The four-time Super Bowl champion revealed that if he gets his wish, he’ll walk away in four years.
“I told my wife before I left the room a while ago, I’m sitting there…I said, ‘I’ve got two years left at FOX. I’m 76. Okay, so it’s a young man’s game. I get that.’ Everybody wants the new… And so I said, ‘If we can get to the next Super Bowl, I’ll be 80. That’s… I think that’s time’. 80 years old, that’s pushing it!”
Fox Sports will broadcast Super Bowl 59 between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles this Sunday. The network won’t air the big game again for four years when Bradshaw will be a few months removed from his 80th birthday.

Super Bowl 63 Would Be The Perfect Sendoff For Terry Bradshaw
For an NFL legend and beloved analyst with three decades at the helm, there’d be no better sendoff than the Super Bowl. But with Bradshaw’s contract running up in two years, by no means is it a guarantee that he’ll still be with the network by then.
