Pittsburgh Steelers’ legend and Pro Football Hall of Famer Terry Bradshaw thinks it’s time for one of the NFL’s youngest head coaches to receive his pink slip.
The Los Angeles Chargers narrowly held on for a tight 28-24 road win over the Minnesota Vikings to avoid a horrendous 1-2 start. Bolts’ head coach Brandon Staley nearly cost his team the game by running a fourth-and-1 play (with a four-point lead) at their own 24-yard line with 1:51 to go.
Fortunately for Staley, Kenneth Murray Jr. saved the day with a game-sealing interception in the endzone:
Nonetheless, Bradshaw called for the Chargers to fire their third-year head coach after the game on FOX (h/t Andrew Holleran of The Spun).
“He could not coach for me,” Bradshaw said.
