Welcome to the NFL, where free agent players might not get a chance to play for a team because they won’t get vaccinated.
Case in point — veteran receiver Terrelle Pryor is seeking employment in the National Football League, which is on the cusp of happening if he only does one small thing.
“Had a try out lined up,” Pryor tweeted on Saturday night. “Said I can’t visit unless . . . I’m vaccinated! Now I’m torn between, tough decision.”
The reality for Terrelle Pryor is that if he doesn’t get vaccinated, the interested team will find someone else without thinking twice about it.
The 32-year-old had brief stints with the Chiefs, Bengals, Browns and Redskins before signing a one-year contract with the Jets worth $4.5 million. New York released him during the 2018 season and he later caught on with the Bills.
The Jaguars signed him to a contract in 2019, but he was placed on injured reserve and cut with a settlement without playing a game.
