Linebacker Terrell Suggs once said that former teammate Ray Lewis never believed him that he played running back in high school. I mean, it is pretty hard to believe that a guy his size would be put at that position.
Well, we now have video evidence that it actually did happen.
Here’s Suggs thundering out of the backfield for what appears to be a 60-yard touchdown.
Suggs was named the ALL-USA Arizona Player of the Year and the Gatorade Arizona Player of the Year back in 2000.
During the NFL offseason, he returned to his hometown and signed with the Arizona Cardinals.
The seven-time Pro Bowler has played his entire NFL career on the Baltimore Ravens, accumulating 132.5 career sacks over 16 seasons.
