Following his release from the Titans last week, three-time Pro Bowler Taylor Lewan came home and noticed that he had things waiting for him on his porch.
The offensive tackle, who spent his entire career in Tennessee, posted a photo on Twitter showing several garbage bags filled with shoes and clothes, with football pads even sitting on top of one bag.
“Shout out to the Titans dropping my stuff off today,” he said on Twitter. “They even let me keep the shoulder pads.”
Hall of fame wide receiver Terrell Owens saw the post and called out the organization for what they did.
“This is what they think of you when you’re done and no longer of service to them. Classless.”
Lewan was drafted by the Titans in the first round of the 2014 draft. Over nine seasons, he started in 100 games and earned three consecutive Pro Bowl nods. Unfortunately, injuries slowed him down the past few years.
