Deion Sanders has been in the Pro Football Hall of Fame for more than a decade now, but his thoughts about it have changed and now he doesn’t think being in the Hall of Fame is quite the honor it used to be.
During a lengthy rant about the Hall of Fame, Sanders insinuated that it’s now too easy for players to get in and that the Hall needs to think about separating the best Hall of Famers from other Hall of Famers by giving out a different color jacket.
“The Hall of Fame ain’t the Hall of Fame no more,” Sanders said. “I love it, I respect it, I admire it. I think all the guys who are inducted are definitely deserving, but it needs to be a different color jacket. My jacket’s gotta be a different color.”
Terrell Owens is a Pro Football Hall of Famer, and he agreed with everything Sanders had to say about the subject. The longtime NFL wide receiver sounded off on the state of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, echoing comments made by the legendary Deion Sanders.
“Facts!! I feel the SAME WAY. And half of them couldn’t even look at me or speak to me when I was there last weekend. I made it a point to let #DanDouts know how and what I felt about him and negative comments about me when I was nominated and didn’t make it 2016 & 2017,” TO wrote.”
