The Tennessee Titans defense came to play today.
Taking on Justin Herbert and the Los Angeles Chargers’ high-powered offense, the Titans were hoping to keep the score at 7-7 going into the half. Their chances of doing so weren’t looking good when they allowed the Chargers to drive all the way to their 25-yard-line with 12 second remaining, but then this happened.
That’s cornerback Roger McCreary going up and tipping the ball back into the hands of safety Joshua Kalu for the incredible tip drill interception.
It’s amazing to see a player pull off that type of play, when everything is moving so fast on the field and they have little time to think. Just having the awareness to know that his teammate was an incredible display of football IQ from McCreary.
And Kalu also deserves a ton of credit for being in the right place and being prepared to catch that ball.

The Titans’ pass defense has been one of the team’s biggest weaknesses all season, but so far they’ve limited Herbert to just 132 yards and an interception through one half of football…
Oh, and they also pulled off what is easily the best interception you’ll see all year.
