Tennessee Titans president of Football Operations Chad Brinker is making some huge waves with his most recent comments about the NFL Draft.
Brinker was on the Ramon, Kayla, and Will Show on 104.5 Wednesday morning and made it clear about the team’s plans, which do not seem to include trading their first overall pick.
“If there’s a generation player, you cannot pass that up.”

Given the Titans’ glaring need under center, they could use the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 draft, Cam Ward, or Colorado’s Shedeur Sanders, but many people in the comment section believe Brinker might be speaking on Travis Hunter.
“So Travis Hunter? Cuz who else is generational?” one fan asked.

What Will The Tennessee Titans Do With The Number One Pick?
The Titans secured the No. 1 overall pick by going 3-14 this season, marking the first time they have had the top selection since 1978 when they were based in Houston.
At one point, the Tennessee Titans franchise made three consecutive playoff appearances from 2019 to 2021, but things have gone terribly since then. They have posted a losing record in three straight seasons.
Quarterback play for the team has been the biggest issue, with Will Levis being the most notable miss that they made during the draft.
The Titans selected Will Levis in the second round of the 2023 NFL draft. He showed some promise, completing 58.4 percent of his passes for 1,808 yards, eight touchdowns, and four interceptions.
It prevented the team from taking quarterbacks such as Michael Penix Jr., J.J. McCarthy, or Bo Nix in the first round of the 2024 draft. That would be a mistake, as Levis regressed in his second year.
He went 2-10 and completed 63.1 percent of his passing attempts for 2,091 yards, 13 touchdowns, and 12 picks.
Clearly, the team needs a quarterback, whether it’s Cam Ward or Shedeur Sanders.
