When a professional team is done with a player, they can get pretty disrespectful in how they go about getting rid of them.
Tennessee Titans pass rusher Bud Dupree woke up on Monday to find out that he was going to be cut by the team. However, instead of informing him directly or his agent, they sent out the news and he found out while scrolling through Twitter.
Dupree posted this on Twitter saying “Damn I found out on Twitter”, about his release.
Dupree was drafted in the first round of the 2015 NFL Draft by the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was a huge signing for the Titans a few years ago, but he never lived up to his contract with the team.
According to OverTheCap.com, releasing Dupree outright will free up over $9 million in available cap space.
In 2022, Dupree appeared in 11 games for the Titans and recorded 18 tackles, four sacks, a forced fumble and two recoveries.
