The Chicago Bears are determined to get the right people around Caleb Williams to ensure the franchise can exceed.
Bears general manager Ryan Poles said the team will exhaust all options when looking for its next head coach, even if that means trading for one.
Over the weekend, Fox Sports’ Jay Glazer reported that teams were going to make calls to trade for Minnesota Vikings head coach Kevin O’Connell.
On Tuesday, Chicago Bears General Manager Ryan Poles told the media that he would be willing to trade draft picks for a head coach.
There is no word on if the Chicago Bears would target Minnesota Vikings head coach Kevin O’Connell.
The other two candidates who have also emerged in this possible trade are San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan and Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin.

Kyle Shanahan, Mike Tomlin and Kevin O’Connell have all been speculated as potential HC trade candidates, but this is very unlikely to happen.

Tomlin being traded to the Bears is unlikely since his contract has a no-trade clause.
In the meantime, the Bears have started the process of requesting to interview assistant coaches on other teams.

The Chicago Bears and rookie quarterback Caleb Williams needed to secure a victory on Sunday in the season’s final week.
It meant absolutely nothing in terms of standings or making the playoffs, but the victory meant a better feeling in the locker room.
The team snapped a 10-game losing streak and beat their division rival Green Bay Packers 24-22 on a game-winning field goal as time expired.
At one point, the Bears were 4-2. They ended the year with a 5-12 record.
