Taylor Swift’s alleged stalker, David Crowe, was taken into custody once again. David Crowe was charged with stalking after a neighbor and the pop singer’s guards saw him outside her building.
The alleged stalker was caught near the singer’s Tribeca home, where he has allegedly been spotted 30 times in the past two months. In fact, he has been arrested three times in five days.
The Seattle man caught twice in three days lurking outside Taylor Swift’s apartment found himself back in cuffs Wednesday when he returned to the mega-star’s apartment which came less than an hour after being cut loose by a Manhattan judge.
Crowe made a court appearance and was arraigned on stalking and harassment charges and given supervised release. The prosecutor’s request for an order of protection was granted but it still did not stop him as he caught charges of violating the order of protection. He was seen going through a dumpster just steps from the singer’s home.
Prosecutors asked for supervised release at the highest possible level stating in court filings: “These cases are not deemed bail-eligible, however [Crowe’s] continued conduct in showing up to this location despite numerous directives to leave shows a clear risk that [Crowe] will not abide by court orders to return to court.”

When Crowe was asked by reporters in New York why he was stalking Swift, he said, “I’m not, I was grabbing some of my pants they threw in the dumpster when they falsely arrested me.”
Crowe has been at Swift’s apartment about 30 times since November 25, 2023.
This is not the first time Swift has faced stalking concerns. In 2022, a man was charged with trespassing and stalking after authorities said he entered two Tribeca residences linked to Swift.
Later that year, a man was arrested for crashing a car into the townhouse and reportedly told police he wouldn’t leave until he met with Swift.
