A national poll has revealed how NFL fans really feel about Taylor Swift.
The pop sensation started a relationship with Kansas City Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce earlier this year and has been attending NFL games since September. Given that she’s Taylor Swift, the 34-year-old has attracted plenty of media attention and television coverage.
It’s even been rumored that Al Michaels was taken off NBC’s playoff affairs because he talked down on her presentation, suggesting that the sideshow should remain the sideshow and the actual game the focal point.
Things have toned down a bit on that front yet Swfties still get to see a whole lot of their girl on TV whenever she’s at games, though she’s garnered some unflattering comparisons as of late.
While some fans have vented about Taylor constantly being in the spotlight, many of them don’t seem to mind. So a new Marist Poll has set the record straight.
According to The Kansas City Star, 70 percent of NFL fans reckon Swift has impacted the league positively.

“More women (75%) than men (64%) said Swift has had a positive impact on the NFL, the pollmakers said.
“And 80% of people who identified themselves as Swift’s fans (aka “Swifties”) said they see her positively influencing the NFL.”
For what it’s worth, Swift has said that she doesn’t care how NFL fans view her, nor is she aware whenever the camera picks her up. She insists she only cares about supporting Kelce.
