NFL fans are tired of the Taylor Swift mania.
On Sunday, Swift and her gang of celebrity friends descended upon MetLife Stadium to watch Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs play the New York Jets. Any time the Chiefs did anything good, Swift was shown.
Fans in MetLife Stadium for the Giants/Seahawks game 24 hours later let their feelings be known loudly about the pop star. Big screens at the same stadium advertised her upcoming The Eras Tour movie, which will hit cinemas later this month, during Monday Night Football.
Fans in attendance to watch the New York Giants host the Seattle Seahawks responded by loudly booing as Swift was shown. It was a clear indication that some NFL fans are already growing tired of the Swift sideshow which has come to the league in recent weeks.
Earlier in the day, the NFL had to make a huge change after their official social media account made reference to Swift in the aftermath of her appearance at Sunday Night Football. They updated their Instagram profile to contain the bio: “Chiefs are 2-0 as Swifties” and then deleted it hours later after backlash from fans.

After becoming an unexpected storyline in the NFL season, Swift is also set to be the subject of some on-field trash-talk when Kelce and the Chiefs hit the field against the Vikings. Cornerback Byron Murphy has warned Kelce he will attempt to get under his skin when they meet in the Chiefs’ Week 5 clash.
“Oh man, the social media is going crazy,” Murphy said, via ESPN. “And I’m not hating against it.
“That’s the world we’re living in. Is she going to come to this game? We’re locked in, but that would be something. I’ve been watching her since I was a kid.
“That would be cool, for sure. Not for him, because we’re going to try to get our hands on him in front of her. I’m going to say something to him to get him going.”
Swift wasn’t the only thing the Giants fans would be booing on this night.
Daniel Jones completed 27 of 34 passes for 203 yards and rushed 10 times for 66 yards in Monday’s 24-3 loss to the Seahawks. He was intercepted twice and fumbled twice, losing one. He was sacked 10 times.
Jones fell to 1-12 in prime-time games in his career, including 0-7 on MNF.
