Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are all anyone can talk about. Swift and Kelce were first linked in July 2023 when the tight end shared he attempted to ask Swift out after attending her Eras Tour. He wanted to pass her a friendship bracelet with his number on it but never got the chance.
Swift later showed her interest in Travis by accepting an invite to a Chiefs vs. Chicago Bears game in September 2023. According to Kelce, the duo were connected well before that NFL game, thanks to a mysterious person in Swift’s camp.
Swift was named Time magazine’s Person of the Year in 2023. She then shocked everybody by detailing the start of her relationship with the Chiefs tight end. It came shortly after Kelce expressed an interest in meeting her on his “New Heights” podcast with his brother, Jason.
“This all started when Travis very adorably put me on blast on his podcast, which I thought was metal as hell,” Swift told Time. “We started hanging out right after that. So we actually had a significant amount of time that no one knew, which I’m grateful for, because we got to get to know each other.”
She also added that while their first very public-facing appearance together came at the Chiefs-Bears game in Week 3, that certainly wasn’t the couple’s first date.
“By the time I went to that first game, we were a couple,” she explained. “I think some people think that they saw our first date at that game? We would never be psychotic enough to hard launch a first date.”

One fan brought in the Christmas spirit with her Taylor Swift-themed holiday light show that had the pop star singing ME! It also featured a cameo from Travis Kelce as well.
The singer celebrated her 34th birthday with a star-studded NYC bash Wednesday but Kelce was not in attendance, as he had mandatory football practice back in Kansas City.
However, it was previously reported that he allegedly has some “special” plans of his own for her, which are likely to take place this weekend, since Swift is expected to support the NFL star at his upcoming game against the New England Patriots at Gillette Stadium.
