World-famous singer and 12-time Grammy award winner Taylor Swift has confirmed a lengthy rumor.
She is, in fact, a fan of the Philadelphia Eagles.
Speculation about Swift’s Eagles fanship has been going around aplenty since the release of her 2020 song, Gold Rush. There’s a line in the song where she states, “I see me padding across your wooden floor with my Eagles T-shirt hanging from the door.”
Fan Holly Caitlin attended Swift’s concert in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Caitlin posted a viral that has since gone viral of Swift confirming that she’s a fan of the Eagles:
“And I saw some people wondering if it (the Eagle t-shirt reference in “Gold Rush”) was the band, the Eagles. And I love the band, the Eagles. But guys, like, come on. I’m from Philly, of course it’s the team.”
Swift was born in West Reading, which is roughly a one-hour drive from Philadelphia.

The Eagles are coming off an impressive 14-3 season that saw them reach Super Bowl 57, where they dropped a last-second heartbreaker to Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs. But the Eagles brought back most of their core players from 2022 and should once again be in the running to win Super Bowl 58.
As Eagles fans await the start of football season, the focus remains on Joel Embiid and the Philadelphia 76ers, who are one win away from a trip to the Eastern Conference Finals. They’ll visit the Boston Celtics in Game 7 at TD Garden on Sunday afternoon.
