Before the New England Patriots took to the field against the New York jets — Bill Belichick was doing an interview where he was asked about Antonio Brown who is no longer part of the team.
CBS Sports’ Dana Jacobson received a snarling stare before Belichick dismissed the question altogether.
“We’re focused on the Jets today,” Belichick responded before appearing to stare down Jacobson at the end of the interview.
Fellow reporter Taylor Rooks did not appreciate that interview.
Rooks took to Twitter and called out the Patriots head coach for his disrespectful behavior for a question that had to be asked.
“The stare is wholly unprofessional. Not responding to “thank you” is wholly unprofessional. If he doesn’t want to answer the question, that’s his prerogative. But it’s ridiculous to think you’re above being asked the question. It’s been one of the biggest stories. Dana HAS to ask”
