Former Tennessee Titans offensive tackle, Taylor Lewan, was unsurprisingly one of the recent cap casualties the team had to make before the new league year.
After nine years with the team, you would think there would be some level of respect between both sides. Despite his impressive tenure to become one of the best left tackles in Titans history, his recent Twitter post shows just how cold of a business the NFL can be at times.
The Titans appeared to pack all of his belongings in trash bags and simply drop them off at his door. They even threw his shoulder pads on his doorstep as well.
“Shout out to the @Titans dropping my stuff off today. They even let me keep the shoulder pads,” Lewan tweeted, alongside a photo of his stuff sprawled out on his front porch.
The 6-foot-7 lineman has already stated that his next team will not be somebody in the AFC South, but if the Titans really did him this way, he may want to rethink it.

Lewan reached stardom during his tenure with the Titans, but injuries slowed him down the last few years. He only appeared in two games in 2022, and only started 32 games in his final four years in Tennessee.
