Taylor Heinicke is one tough SOB.
In the fourth quarter of their game against the Carolina Panthers, the Washington quarterback was tackled by several Panthers players and got folded up like a pretzel in the process. It was a rather nasty looking play, and Brian Burns certainly didn’t help things when he decided to start punching at Heinicke as he was clearly down and being bent backwards while in obvious pain.
Despite the awkward looking tackle, Heinicke was able to stay in the game. And he currently has his Washington Football Team in prime position to steal game on the road in Carolina. The win would be Washington’s second in a row, improving their record to 4-6.
As for Heinicke, he’s had himself a marvelous day with three touchdown passes and no interceptions.
