Taylor Heinicke simply balled out on Sunday.
The Washington Football Team weren’t given much of a chance coming into their contest with the Tampa Bay Bucs. But they pulled off the big-time upset to keep their playoff hopes alive. And that had their starting quarterback, Taylor Heinicke, feeling pretty emotional afterwards.
During his post-game press conference, Heinicke couldn’t hold back the tears while talking about his team’s big win against the defending champs.
“It’s the moment I dreamt of last year when I wasn’t playing. I always told myself that if I get another chance to play, I’m gonna go out there and do something great.”
Taylor Heinicke outplayed Tom Brady, 26-of-32 for 256 yards and a touchdown while Brady was 23-of-34 for 220 yards, two touchdowns, and the two interceptions.

The Washington Football Team closed out the game with a 19-play drive that took 10:55 off the game clock and ended in an Antonio Gibson touchdown.
For the Bucs, it was not only one of their worst performances in the last two seasons but it comes off of a bye week and against the worst pass defense in the NFL.
The Buccaneers now fall to 6-3 with a prime time game against the New York Giants next week.
