The Detroit Lions have a huge game coming up as they get set to face the Green Bay Packers for the first time in the post-Aaron Rodgers era.
Unfortunately, they may be without one or possibly two key players for that game as running back David Montgomery and left tackle Taylor Decker have been listed as questionable. Montgomery missed last week’s game against the Atlanta Falcons while Decker has missed the past two games.
Detroit’s coaching staff has been optimistic that Taylor Decker and David Montgomery will suit up on Thursday. Three Lions have been ruled out, including Halapoulivaati Vaitai, Matt Nelson, and Jason Cabinda.
“Two that are trending the most positive right now would be Decker and D-Mo. Those are the two I’m starting to feel pretty good about.”
Detroit will be facing off against a team that is seeking to avenge a tough loss that eliminated it from the postseason on the final day of the 2022 regular season.
Detroit has defeated the Packers in the last three outings in which the rivals have faced off.
