The Los Angeles Rams announced that they’ve waived the son of an NFL executive and things may get a little dicey for them as a result.
Former Ohio State DT Taron Vincent has been let go as part of roster cuts by the Los Angeles Rams. Vincent is trying to make an NFL roster as a rookie after going undrafted.
Vincent is also the son of Troy Vincent, a former All-Pro cornerback and current Executive Vice President of Football Operations for the NFL.
The Baltimore native recorded four tackles in three preseason games.
An undrafted rookie, Vincent played five years at Ohio State, recording 57 tackles, including 8 for loss with 1.5 sacks in his time at OSU. Vincent also had 1 career fumble recovery, recorded last season.
Out of the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida, Vincent was rated 5 stars, the No. 1 defensive tackle and No. 20 overall prospect in the class on the Composite. He chose them over scholarship offers from 30 other schools.
