The Houston Texans have delivered a brutal update on rookie wide receiver Tank Dell following a leg injury sustained during Sunday’s showdown against the Denver Broncos.
The Texans snapped the Broncos’ five-game winning streak via a 22-17 result, but it has come at a cost as they’ve lost the first-year wideout for the remainder of the season.
Dell was carted off the field after the injury and NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport has since revealed that he’s suffered a fractured fibula.
The third-round pick has been one of the most impressive rookies in 2023 and, alongside CJ Stroud, has helped return the new-look Texans to relevance.
Dell went into Sunday’s clash with 47 receptions, 709 yards, and seven touchdowns.
We wish him a speedy recovery.
