Vita Vea is going to need an appointment with the dentist after today’s game.
While facing off against the Indianapolis Colts in week 12, the Tampa Bay Bucs nose tackle took a helmet to the face from Colts guard Mark Glowinski. It just so happens that Vea’s helmet was lifted at the time, exposing his mouth. And the result was a lost tooth.
You can actually see the tooth flying out of his mouth in the slow motion replay.
Vea made his return to the Buccaneers lineup today after missing last week’s game with a knee injury. He was left bloodied after this play, but remained in the game. And he was even able to crack a smile over it on the sidelines.
